About Me

Hi, I'm James Blake
—a Product Designer and UI/UX Designer with over 10 years of experience across automotive, consumer products, medical, and digital design industries. In addition to my design career, I am an Associate Professor, teaching Senior Thesis, Pro-Practice, and Physical & Digital Product Design to industrial design students.

I have a passion for creating functional, clean designs that solve real-world problems and enhance user experiences. I’ve worked as a Product Designer for ExamPrep.ai, where I redesigned user interfaces, developed personas, and integrated AI functionalities.

Currently, I’m a Product Designer for DemocracyLab, where I collaborate with a talented UX team to optimize the website for tech-for-good projects, and I’m consulting for MyEdMaster LLC to resolve UI issues and improve their platform's design.


I’m proficient in Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, and have experience with 3D modeling and sketching. I also enjoy working on cars and motorcycles, blending my passion for design with hands-on creativity. This version is more streamlined while highlighting your key experiences and skills.
